We see this Web site itself as an important tool for education. It is our hope that it can serve as a central hub for fostering a sustainable vision as well as a springboard to learning from and building upon successful ideas that have already been implemented.

ICLEI (Local governments for Sustainability) is a perfect resource for learning what has already been done in terms of developing a sustainability model for a city. We don’t need to reinvent the wheel, we just need to find what fits us best.
